Groblersdal is a malaria free region of the Limpopo Province in South Africa. The town is the center of the irrigation scheme of the Loskop Dam, and became the second-largest irrigation settlement in South Africa. The dam has an extensive network system with the man-made floodplain producing cotton, citrus, tobacco, wheat maize, to name but a few of the many crops in feeds.
Groblersdal is also known for its abundant game farms, which brings the tourists back every year. The game farms are only open at certain times of the year, with the Loskop Dam offering great angling spots for Bream and Carp. These are only a few of the activities and attractions that Groblersdal offer, with bird watching, hiking, spa treatments an option as well.
Limpopo is regarded as a unique eco-destination, the Limpopo Province is South Africa’s gateway to the north. The province shares borders with Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique and is named after the Limpopo River that is the region’s natural boundary.
Limpopo is a patchwork of different landscapes; the flat shrubby terrain in the west so perfectly situated for game reserves and cattle farming, the mysterious tropical rainforests and waterfalls in the central regions where exotic fruits are grown and the thick bushveld in the northern section of the Kruger National Park, all accessible via an excellent road network.
Expect to be pleasantly surprised by the scenic wonders and cultural experiences on a visit to the Limpopo Province.

Nature Conservation
The free wandering herds are the result of our game management program, which approximates natural selection. Our aim is to manage the survival and improvement of our thriving and hereditarily balanced herds in natural surroundings.
The hunting of game, when guided by a professional hunter, contributes to our conservation program. The absence of natural predators and the importance of a sustainable natural environment for the animals, for instance, makes selling and culling (through hunting) of animals compulsory, if conservation is to be achieved.
